Manila, Philippines — The first-ever LACON: A Fan Convention For Thai Fandom 2023 happened last July 8, 2023 at the Philippine Trade Training Center!
The first-ever LACON featured fanclub booths, group and solo performances, fun games and show with the cast of Hit Bite Love cast! The said LACON gathered lakorn fans altogether just to celebrate the special event!
There are various groups that performed at LACON just like COSMOS! Solo performers also showcased their vocal skills just like how Adrian Santiago poured his heart while performing Jeff Satur’s Why Don’t You Stay.
Games for the fans also happened where fans can participate with their fellow fans as well. Some even win event tickets from Wish Us Luck!
Before the main show, the cast answered the questions from the media just like how Newyear answered our question.
We asked Newyear “Given your young age, what experience and memory you have learned while filming Hit Bite Love that you think you can apply or help you in the future?” and here’s what he said.
“This is the first one that I started, and of course I will continue doing my best in the next one. And since this is the very first series that I have started, of course I have a lot of experiences that I’m going to continue to use it for my next work in the future.” — Newyear
The highlight of the event was when the cast of Hit Bite Love performed on stage for their Filipino fans!
The cast performed various songs like their OST, “Hit Me Bite Me,” “Beyond Close Friends,” and songs “Kon Jai Ngai,” “You and You Only (Koon Lae Koon Tow Nun)” and an unreleased Thai version of a famous Chinese song!
Not just that because the cast even performed a Filipino song — Parokya ni Edgar’s Your Song (My One and Only)! It’s very touching as when the cast told the fans to sing the song, all of the fans at PTTC sing along!
The cast also had a game segment just like “Goove To Know You” wherein the fans will guess what Goove will answer between the options that were asked to him.
When the host asked Goove, sing or dance, Goove answered “sing” that’s why the fans requested for him to sing a sample and Goove granted the fans’ request.
During Vic and Tae’s game segment the host told them a Filipino word wherein they need to guess what it is in English. Vic and Tae tried answering what these words mean: Ligaya, Magmunimuni, Tadhana, Tinatanggi, and Alapaap.
Vic and Tae danced a punishment but it doesn’t even look like a punishment in the first place because the two are enjoying the moment as they danced their hearts out.
Bigboss and Alan played Never Have I Ever. They reveleaed that both of them already broken a bone, slept for 10 hours, googled themselves and finished a series in one sitting!
Bigboss said he finished Heartstopper while Alan finished NCIS in one sitting!
As for Newyear and Jur they played a game called “I Know You Know” wherein they need to pose and they have to be the same. They cutely posed the same for King!
The whole cast also played a Hide and Seek game wherein Bigboss need to guess where Alan is while Goove need to guess where Vic is.
Bigboss successfully guessed Alan while Goove didn’t guessed Vic because he changed his answer.
The night was filled with tears and emotional Hit Bite Love cast after they watched the VCR made by the fans. The boys are truly overwhelmed by the support of their Filipino fans. Considering it’s their first overseas trip, the boys really showed their vulnerable side with the fans after watching the VCR.

LACON 2023 proved how conventions like LACON can definitely be as memorable as attending fan meetings and concert. With all of the performances, games and show from Hit Bite Love cast, LACON is surely an event that fans won’t ever forget!
