Manila, Philippines — After three years of waiting for his return to the Philippines, Mew Suppasit’s anticipated Manila fan meeting finally happened last October 27, 2023, at Samsung Hall.
Filipino fans’ energy is always off the roof when it comes to showing their support for an artist, band, or group that comes to the Philippines for a concert or fan meeting. In addition, that is what also happened to Mew’s fan meeting in Manila last October 27, 2023. Mew’s fan meeting in the Philippines is his second fan meeting since his first fan meeting in 2020.
Here are some of the memorable moments during Mew’s 2023 Fan Meet in Manila that Mewlions (Mew’s fandom name) will surely treasure forever.
PERFORMANCES
Be it a celebrity, entrepreneur, artist, and many more, Mew has already done it, and so has singing especially for his lovely Mewlions. Giving his all for his fan meeting, Mew performed various tracks like Rolling In The Deep, Flower, and two of his songs — Spaceman & Season of You.
ENERGETIC FANS
Mew’s Mewlions showed how energetic they were even at the start of Mew’s fan meeting and they are consistent until the very last minute of the show.
FUN SEGMENT & GAMES
Mew tries various segments and games which makes all of his Mewlions have fun and enjoy every MEWments with him. When the host asked him if he missed his Filipino fans and shared how he missed the energy here in the Philippines.
Mew also played Pinoy Henyo which is a famous game in the Philippines. Mew had to guess the words flashed on the LED screen and he got five correct answers — Chopper, Mew, Pad Thai, Manila, and Mango.
He also tried three Filipino Foods — Banana Chips, Ensaymada, and Chocnut. Among the three, Mew shared that he likes the Banana Chips.
MEW’S SURPRISE
Before his fan meeting, Mew visited the fan booths in the lobby of Samsung Hall and even tried the photo booth.
Not just that because during his fan meeting, Mew goes down the stage to get closer to his Mewlions during his Season of You performance.
MEWLIONS’ SURPRISE
His Filipino fans prepared heartfelt VCR and towards the end of the VCR, his Mewlions sang Eraserheads’ “With a Smile.”
A cake was also given to Mew for his birthday in advance. They also sang him a happy birthday.
FINAL THOUGHT
Mew’s Manila fan meeting is indeed a MEWmorable one as it has many MEWments to cherish. May it be meeting Mew in person, seeing him sing various songs, interacting with his Mewlions, and even sharing how he misses his fans in Manila, all of his Mewlions definitely had the best time of their lives during that night.
