On March 10, 2024, Thai Actor Win Metawin received the AFA Rising Star Award at the 17th Asian Film Awards at Xiqu Centre, Hong Kong.
Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn is a Thai actor known for his role “Tine” in the hit 2020 BL series “2gether” and “Kavin” in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers in 2021. Win Metawin is also the lead actor of “Enigma” and currently has a series airing which is Beauty Newbie, based on the South Korean webtoon My ID Is Gangnam Beauty.
Aside from receiving the award, Under Parallel Skies starring Win Metawin and Janella Salvador will premiere in Hong Kong on March 11, 2024, as part of the 17th Asian Film Awards special events at APM, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong.
Under Parallel Skies becomes the first Philippine cross-country film to have its world premiere in Hong Kong as one of the special events of AFA.
Moreover, Win Metawin posted in his Instagram that his AFA Rising Star Award means a lot to him.
Win Metawin included a selfie with Thai Actor Mario Maurer, who was also present at the awards ceremony of the 17th Asian Film Awards.
After Under Parallel Skies premiere at Hong Kong, the movie will be available exclusively in the cinemas in the Philippines (April 17), Singapore (May 1) and Thailand (May 9).
