It is the fifth time for FreenBecky to visit Manila, the support from their fans is unstoppable, and the two keep on giving the best shows on each of their return to Manila.
Thai stars Freen Sarocha Chankimha and Rebecca Patricia Armstrong (Becky) embarked on their Manila comeback for a fan meeting last April 27, 2024, at the New Frontier Theater.
Freen and Becky performed their hit songs like Marry Me, Because of You, GIRLFREEN, Pantone, Pink Theory (Bossa Ver.), and also Pink Sweat$’s At My Worst.
During their fan meeting, they had exciting segments like “Talk Back with Freen and Beck,” “You Complete Me,” and fan questions. Freen and Becky even designed their mini jeepney! Aside from that, their fans played games in which they could win merch.
Freen expressed that she missed their Filipino fans and their Filipino fans enthusiastically answered “YES!” when the host, Show Suzuki, asked them if they missed Freen. Becky then said she missed their fans as well, she wanted to go to beaches and go shark diving.
Here are some of the memorable highlights during FreenBecky’s 2024 Fan Meeting in Manila:
FREENBECKY’S DREAM ROLE
Becky expressed that she wants action and supernatural roles while Freen said she wants to try being the bad one (villain). When the two were answering the questions, the host, Show Suzuki suggested that since they wanted that role, they could try “Darna” in which Becky is Darna and Freen is Valentina with a girl’s love plot.
Both Freen and Becky even did the famous “Darna!” in which both of them delivered cutely.
FREENBECKY’S MESSAGE TO THE LGBT COMMUNITY
Freen: Since everyone has only one life and it’s not too long, you can do whatever you want and you can be whatever you want to be.
Becky: Be proud of who you are. You have the right to love anyone you want to love.
FREENBECKY, LOOK BACK IN THE PAST OR GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE?
When answering fan questions, if given a chance Freen and Becky to look back or take a glimpse of the future what would they choose? Here is what they said:
Freen: Live in the present.
Becky: Future.
When Freen answered the question, the host said that Becky could not have the same answer as Freen. Eventually, Becky said she wanted to see the future, as she wanted to know if she already did shark diving or if she graduated.
FREENBECKY’S FAVORITE NUMBER
Freen answered that her favorite number is eight as it was because of her birthday. The host then said that eight is a lucky number; it can be eternity or infinity. As for Becky, she said five is her favorite number and the host even joked that it is because it is her fifth time in Manila but Becky said it was her birthday as well.
Freen’s birthday is August 8 while Becky’s birthday is December 5.
FREENBECKY WATCHED THE VCR FAN PROJECT
“Thank you, FreenBecky, for being our home too. To infinity and beyond.”
Aside from many lamp post banners, and LED fan projects for FreenBecky, the fans also crafted a special VCR fan project for FreenBecky and because of it, Freen got teary-eyed after watching the video.
FREENBECKY’S MESSAGE TO THEIR FANS
“This is the first time that I am not really in hundred percent in my health because I don’t feel really good but even though I am not in one hundred percent, I try my best to come and see the Philippine fans and make everyone happy. Thank you for warming my heart with your support. Thank you for coming tonight.” Freen said as she delivered her message to all of the fans who attended the fan meeting.
“The reason why I call you guys family is because like you say, we are like home, so no matter on a good day, or an amazing day, or something exciting, or especially when you have a bad day, you can also come back to us. We’ll be your sunshine. Always. Whenever we fall, we will slowly step up, it’s okay to go slowly but we’ll keep going together as a family.”
The night is truly fun, as FreenBecky always makes sure to deliver the best performances and give their best for their fans.
Freen and Becky became well known through their Thai GL (girl’s love) series titled “GAP The Series” in 2022 and it became a worldwide hit. They are both part of Secret Crush On You series.
Aside from the mentioned series above, Becky is part of the 2020 series TharnType Season 2: 7 Years of Love while Freen was part of So Fit series and The Sign.
Freen and Becky will star in the upcoming movie “URANUS2324” and the first Thai historical Girl’s Love series “The Loyal Pin.”
