The anticipated The Sign fanmeeting in Manila titled “Deep into the Ocean: The Sign Fanmeeting in Manila 2024” finally happened last May 11, 2024 at SM Skydome!
The lead stars of the series, Billy Patchanon, Babe Tanatat alongside co-actors Tack Phongsakorn, Poom Nuttapart, Heng Asavarid, and Surprise Pittikorn gave an exciting performance for their fans during their Manila fanmeeting. On the same day of The Sign fanmeeting, IDOLFACTORY CEO Saint Suppapong first had his fan signing event and met his fans from the Philippines.
“Deep into the Ocean: The Sign Fanmeeting in Manila 2024” became so memorable for the fans who attended the fan meeting and here is why:
POWERFUL PERFORMANCES
The actors of The Sign highlighted their versatility as artists as they performed various exciting performances. Starting from their opening group performance of Shakira’s Waka-Waka, up to the individual performances of the actors, they indeed showed their versatility and dedication to their craft.
The cast also had couple/pair performances and they did well in highlighting their talents.
Aside from solo and couple performances, Heng, Billy, and Babe also perform together.
FILIPINO WORDS
The cast learns some Filipino words like “gwapo” (handsome), “jowa” (slang term for boyfriend/girlfriend), “mahal kita” (I love you) and Surprise even said, “miss kita.” (I miss you)
FUN GAMES
The cast played a couple of fun games like “The Signs, Together” which is a paper dance game. They are divided into three teams — Billy & Babe, Tack & Poom, and Heng & Surprise. They are so competitive but in the end, BillyBabe wins the game. As a punishment, TackPoom and HengPrise danced.
They also played “The Sign We Keep Going” wherein they needed to successfully transfer the ball from one basket to another as a pair. This time, Heng and Surprise won the game. And of course, there are consequences for BillyBabe and TackPoom.
There’s also a segment called “The Signs of You And I” for BillyBabe and “The Sign of Me And You” for TackPoom.
TAGALOG SONG
It’s heartwarming whenever artists cover OPM songs just like when the cast of The Sign performed Christian Bautista’s When You Look At Me. They even give a little gift for the fans as they perform.
SAINT SUPPAPONG’S MESSAGE TO THE FANS
IDOLFACTORY’s CEO, Saint Suppapong, surprised the fans when he went up on stage and gave a message to the fans, indeed a shocking scene but the fans were so happy to see him on stage and give a message for the actors and to the fans at the venue.
“Thank you for supporting all of my boys… Please support also the team in the future and in whatever upcoming projects.”
VCR FAN PROJECT
The fans showed their love for The Sign cast and created a video fan project for the boys.
With amazing performances from the cast during the show and fun interaction with their fans during the fan benefit session, The Sign Fan Meeting in Manila became so memorable for all of the fans who attended the fanmeeting. The cast showed their cute and fun side as they interacted with their fans and they gave their all in their performances for the fans. Surely, the fans will be grateful for the happy memories that the cast showed in the show, which have been marked forever in their hearts.
