LAHN MAH with the international title of “How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies” directed by Pat Boonnitipat starring Billkin Putthipong, Usha Seamkhum, Tu Tontawan, and Phuak Pongsatorn is now showing in the Philippines. The film was first released on April 4, 2024, in Thailand, and eventually international screening of the film was announced last April 26.
How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies follows the story of M (Billkin Putthipong), a university student dropout who pursued to become a game caster as he thought that career would give him a lot of money but it didn’t turn out as he planned. There came Mui (Tu Tontawan), M’s cousin who inherited the mansion of Agong because she took care of him. M saw this opportunity to take care of Amah (Usha Seamkhum) so he could gain an inheritance from Amah who has a terminal illness, cancer.
Billkin Putthipong effortlessly pulled off his role and gave the right amount of emotions through M. From the start of the film, the build-up of his character is very visible. As for Amah (Usha Seamkhum), her heartfelt emotions throughout the film will surely captivate your heart.
The cinematography of the film is on point and it shows the emotions of the film. How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies is indeed a rollercoaster ride as there are a couple of funny scenes and sad scenes, and even if you don’t want to cry, you’ll surely cry.
The film is not for the faint-hearted because a couple of scenes will break your heart. It is perfect to watch with your friends, family, and loved ones, as it is very relatable to every family household. The film tackles many life lessons, how you should value your grandparents and how you should spend more time with them.
A gentle reminder from us is you should prepare plenty of tissues when you watch the film. An inhaler and water are also necessary so you will not get dehydrated from crying.
