Q&A WITH FRANK

During the interview portion, when asked about how his experience first-time visiting Manila, Frank expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he received from Filipino fans. He even described them as very ardent, energetic, and cute. Frank also praised those who interacted with him at the airport upon his arrival.

Furthermore, he was deeply touched by fans who still remember him for his role as “Phukong” and continue to talk about “2gether The Series” even after so many years.

While he remains undecided about specific international artists he wants to work with, Frank mentioned Dwayne Johnson as one of the Hollywood artists he would love to collaborate with. He also emphasized his desire to work with someone close to him.

GET TO KNOW FRANK AND HIS CHARACTERS

In an exciting game, Frank was asked to choose among his four previous characters – “Tee” Mungkon (Cause You’re My Boy), Phukong (2gether), Itt (Love Syndrome 3), and Atom (The Rebound) based on different questions raised by the host.

When asked which character he would like to kiss, the question sparked a lively debate among fans, each favoring a different character. Frank ultimately chose not to name anyone, finding it too difficult to select just one.

He did, however, reveal that Itt had the worst love experience and relationships of all his characters. On the other hand, if given the chance to date one of his characters, he would choose Atom because of his cute and loving personality.

FRANK DANCED TO VIRAL TIKTOK CHALLENGES

The excitement soared as Frank joined the trend, dancing to some of the hottest TikTok challenges. Fans were pumped up, cheering wildly as Frank grooved to the spicy trend of Taemin’s “Guilty,” showed off his sexy moves to Timethai’s “Hit Me Up,” and finished with a sassy performance of “Smart” by Le Sserafim.

FANTASTIC GAMES AND MOMENTS WITH FRANK

Frank never failed to captivate his fans, effortlessly matching their contagious Filipino humor and consistently high energy. His playful “Eyyy” hand sign brought excitement throughout the evening.

In addition, fans enjoyed raffles for signed posters and polaroids, 1:1 photo op with Frank, and participated in three engaging mini-games. Five lucky fans for each game joined Frank on stage for a dance to “เจ็บเลยมั้ย,” a 30-second no-reaction staring challenge, and a 10-second drawing contest where Frank had to guess their creations within 30 seconds.

FRANK’S CAREER AND FUTURE PLANS

In a candid interview, Frank reflected on how his series and projects have shaped his perception of love. He shared that he has come to understand the true essence of love even through simple moments, such as sharing a meal together. He also mentioned that being there, sitting in front of his fans, and meeting them, is another form of love for him.

Looking ahead, Frank expressed a desire to take on a new challenge by playing a villainous character. However, he clarified that he wants this character to be harsh with everyone else but not with his special someone.

When asked about the inspiration behind his debut single, “เจ็บเลยมั้ย,” Frank revealed that the song resonates deeply with him. He described it as an expression of profound heartache, reflecting that the reason we feel so much pain is because we tend to keep it to ourselves.

VCR FAN PROJECT

Frank made a dashing appearance in a yellow barong as he watched a heartwarming 3-minute fan project prepared by his dedicated fan club. The video showcased his journey over the years, highlighting how his projects, characters, and series have shaped him into the person he is today.

The fans then enthusiastically sang “Happy Birthday” to celebrate his birthday last July 12.

FRANK’S MESSAGE TO THE FANS

As the event neared its end, Frank conveyed his deep gratitude to the fans who had attended to support him. His heartfelt appreciation is extended to those who have stayed and supported him up to this day.

“Thank you so much, everyone, for being here tonight. I’m grateful for everything, and I appreciate that you’re all still here with me until this very moment. With that, thank you so much! I love you all very, very, very much!” – Frank

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as fans chanted “walang uuwi” (no one will go home), urging Frank to stay with them a little longer.

After a short break, Frank returned to the stage to serenade the crowd. He wrapped up the fan gathering with a soulful performance of “Paano” by Zack Tabudlo, leaving everyone with a lasting impression.

Ultimately, “What the Frank: 1st Fan Convention in Manila” will remain a cherished core memory for every attendee, a special moment they will fondly revisit as they stroll down memory lane. Indeed, this event perfectly encapsulates how Frank is truly a gift to behold.
