The event featured an exciting lineup of artists from across the region: the Philippines’ very own The Ridleys and Shirebound, Indonesia’s Pamungkas, and Thailand’s beloved pop-rock duo, Scrubb. It was an evening filled with vibrant music, great vibes, and epic live performances.

Let time and music rewind as we reminisce the highlights of Pamungkas x Scrubb in Manila.

Filipino Front Acts Set the Tone

The night kicked off with lively, stellar performances by local Filipino artists who set the stage with energy and passion. Alternative folk-rock band The Ridleys opened the show, performing fan-favorites like “Be With You” and “Euphoria.” Their heartfelt music continues to earn them recognition within the local music scene.

Next up was the beloved pop/indie act Shirebound, known for their evocative lyrics and signature melodic style. The crowd sang along to “Pahintulot,” one of their most played and emotionally resonant songs. Other highlights from their set included “LPL,” “Waltz of Four Left Feet,” and “Miss Mosh.”

As the evening progressed, the atmosphere became electric, with the crowd fully immersed in the music. The local acts left fans craving more, setting the perfect tone for the night’s international headliners.

Excitement surged through the crowd as fans awaited the much-anticipated performances of Indonesian artist, Pamungkas and Thai pop-rock duo, Scrubb, both making their second visit to the Philippines.

Indonesia’s Soulful Sensation: Pamungkas

Indonesian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rizki Rahmahadian Pamungkas, known professionally as ‘Pamungkas,’ brought an intimate and hands-on approach to his performance—changing guitars for nearly every song.

He opened with the electrifying “Riddle of the Night” and followed it with the nostalgic “A Day That Feels Better,” which he fondly connected to Manila.

Pamungkas delighted the audience with a powerful set including hits like “One Bad Day,” “I Love You But I’m Letting Go,” “Be Okay Again Today,” and the viral sensation “To the Bone,” a song that skyrocketed in popularity on TikTok and played a major role in bringing him back to Manila.

He further thrilled the audience by performing two fan-requested Indonesian tracks, “Putus” and “Kenangan Manis,” before closing with the emotional “Let Me Cry,” a heartfelt anthem about hidden internal struggles – ending his set on a deeply reflective note.

Thailand’s Pop-Rock Darlings: Scrubb

Thai alt-pop duo Scrubb, composed of Muey (Thawatpon Wongboonsiri) and Ball (Torpong Chantabubpha) took the stage next to a sea of cheers, especially from fans of 2gether: The Series, where their music became the heart and soul of the show.

2gether and BrightWin fans in attendance felt emotional and sentimental as they reminisced about the series, with iconic songs playing in the background. Some of the most heartfelt and emotionally stirring OSTs performed included “Close,” “Everything,” and “Together.”
